IT Strategy
Competition is exploding ... and market boundaries are disappearing. Demand for accurate information is growing faster than ever before ... but bandwidth is not. Customers expect more options and convenience ... for less cost.
In the new business order, that has emerged in this century, it's easy for a company's business to head in one direction ... and its technology in another.
Farr Systems possesses the knowledge and skill to bring the two into alignment. That's due in part because our consultants have extensive experience in positions of business leadership and technology management.
We use proven methodologies to help ensure a firm's IT strategy mirrors – and supports – its business strategy. Whether it is a complex global company that wants to serve its worldwide customers more efficiently ... or a mid-sized concern hoping to enter new markets ... or something in-between.
The Farr System Process
First, we use our IT Assessment and Roadmap Services to take a snapshot of the current performance and services provided by a firm's IT organization. We compare our findings against that company's business objectives. Then, we design a roadmap of sorts that outlines the specific actions the organization can take to achieve better IT service, both internally AND to its customers.
Next, we apply our Executive Development Program to help the firm's senior IT leaders refine their knowledge and skills. We draw upon our significant experience as CIOs – and our unique passion and enthusiasm – to help them see how they can more effectively apply IT toward the organization's business goals.
But we don't deliver boilerplate solutions. We're also known for the innovative thinking we apply toward developing new IT strategies and revising existing ones. Firms can also expect innovation from us should they call upon us to devise an effective Enterprise Architecture ... or to deliver insights into their budgetary and financial processes.
